Prevx[^] was recommended to me by a friend. Haven't had the time to try it out tho.

-------------------------------------------------------------------- If you need a hammer get C and shut up. If you need a nail gun get C++ and shut up. If you don't need *those* things (and good design should tell you) then by all means get a factory, factory, factory. --code-frog@codeproject

I think 1.4 should be sufficient. The product was originally developed by Web Root[^] which sell more powerful versions.

Did it. First time, the program found 6 spies - I repaired and at the second time the program said 'Congratulations - no spies found'!!:) Thank you very much, Gerhard

I really like the Windows Defender in Vista. Don't care much of it's anti-spyware functionality (I protect myself enough as it is). I do however like the way you can sort processes, network connections, etc.

What do you use? I use NOD32 antivirus/antispyware and Outpost firewall. It is the only one that does not slow down the computer, I think. jhaga

Grisoft AVG, a dedicated FreeBSD-server with firewall, and common sense are my items of protection. Actually, I think I would manage well with only the FreeBSD-server and common sense. I've had two viruses in 12 years or something like that. None of the instances did me much harm as the viruses were quite benign.

BTW if you did want to spy on ants, I'd recommend a miniature camera that looks like a bread crumb ;)
