Funny how I'm a late adapter to too many things...

That's mean. What's funny though is he probably makes more money than all of us combined. He probably owns some medical imaging company where he patented the core technology.

I just started using search folders in Outlook. What a very, very useful thing. Combining those with Clear Context and message flagging and it's ... well it's a bit soothing. Seems to have dropped a whole order of complexity from my projects. Better late than never but I honestly feel that I'm probably missing out on more good things than not...:sigh::doh: We need a dork icon. I'd probably use it for my profile icon...:^):-D

I've never used them. But then again, I keep my Inbox pretty clean. Items that have been handled get placed in sub folders. So, my inbox only contains items that need attention, or just have been ignored until a better time comes around.

Being self-employed and working on so many projects at one time with so many clients locally and across the nation I can look like a cat playing in a loose ball of yarn when it comes to my email. Before long I'll be so tangled I won't know how to get free. I'm always trying to find new and better ways to read, store, review, reply, update emails and I think I'm starting to get ahead on it. It's funny how being self employed is like dating someone. It takes a while to get to know your business, what works, what doesn't and how you can best interact with it to keep things positive. I'm starting to be more reflective in this process so that I can get ahead a bit and achieve growth through being more efficient.

When you said adaptor, I instantly thought "network adaptor" (maybe I'm spending too much time on my networking application:~)

Oh hell yeah, cf. When I used to use Outlook it was the best feature.

First off, I think you meant adopter, not adapter. Second, you should probably pick a tool like Google Desktop, Copernic Desktop Search, or any one of the other desktop search programs. Not only will it search your Outlook (including all folders and subfolders), but it will also search your hard drivers, indexing information so that you can instantaneously search for what you are looking for. As far as I'm concerned, Outlook search sucks. Regards,

Talk about late adoption, you know Thunderbird is awesome right?
