Yes, I'm a huge AR fan (thanks to you!) but I use SR98 for replacing text. /ravi

Oops, forgot the free one doesn't do replace. Not sure about the pro version though. I use RelaceEm[^] for replace.

Wo! EDT! Memories of SOS, TECO and LSE and LK201 keyboards... :) (My first code submission was a series of DCL command procedures in the DEC Professional, circa 1982). /ravi

NC (Norton Commander) After you get use to it, it is 50 times faster to work with files than the explorer mouse crap.

My Zeos keyboard. (The 386 that came with it is LONG gone.) I have a heavy hand and like the sound the keys make when I hunt and peck.

I like EDTs keystoke journaling (easy to recover edits in case of a system crash) and it has a very good MACRO capability. I implemented a version of TECO that ran on a Motorola 6809 (Smoke Signal Broadcasting - updated version of this[^]) system back in the 1970s. Application took 12Kb which left about 20Kb for text. I also wrote a version of RUNOFF (grandfather of Word Processors) for the unit. Ah, the good old days when an extra BYTE was worth its weight in gold... Steve
