No issue I have both installed once.. only thing is that your IIS has to set for the correct .net framework version before running ASP.NET projects.

No problems, though you probably need to install oldest to newest I've got VS.net, VS.net 2003 and VS 2005 installed side by side

You have to manually select for each web application which version of ASP.NET to use. I think that once you install VS05 .NET 2.0 is the default. It runs .NET 1.1 apps too, but sometimes there are a few problems, so I suggest you to always select in IIS the ASP.NET version you want to use.

Sir, When you say "need to install oldest to newest" you mean "install oldest to the machine, you have with the newest" right?? That mean VS 2005 first and then... VS 2003 and... finally..... the oldest of all I am I correct Sir?? or when you say "probably" you mean either way is OK?

"oldest to newest" means oldest first, (then newer, then even newer,) and then newest.

There are a few issues that you should be aware of more in the deployment area than in using VS2005. 1) You might have to configure parts of IIS to manaualy change between 2.0 and 1.1, this is rare if you use VS to create the website. 2) Application Domains in IIS, create seperate application domains for 1.1 and 2.0 as they don't share app domains very well as ISS gets confused on what work process it should be using. Also It can take a while to instal VS2005 SP1. Hope this helps. Frank
