congrats!
For what, I did **** all . Basically how the treatment affected me was:
- Drove down to doctors on a Tuesday to have a blood test (5 mins max).
- Chauffer driven by Mum to hospital
- Told nurses I was there, sit around in comfy chair for 1 hour while chemo is made
- Called in, sit in an even comfier chair (electrically reclineing etc etc) for 10 minutes on Saline drip, 15 minutes of chemo
- Given food & drink by Mum in the car and then get chauffeur driven home
- Carry on life as normal.
I must admit I've been lucky in that the chemo hasn't affected me at all, the only thing I ever felt was high blood pressure (could feel vessels around my eyes bulging) for about 30 minutes after treatment, which is hardly suprising since I had about a litre of extra stuff injected into me in 20 minutes.
sometimes people just give up. You didn't, regardless of how little you think you did, you did enough. THAT deserves some congratulations for getting through the process. :)

As some of you (most of you :~) know I was diagnosed with Non-Hotchkins Lymphoma about 8 months ago. Well a few minutes ago I eventually got a reply from the doctor about the results of my Pet scan from a fortnight ago. It's gone :jig: Now I'm definitely going shooting in the States . It's been a pain the last few days because the imaging centre where the scan took place said the results had been sent but the doctor's secretary (he's only holiday) said they havn't arrived. Well I put my foot down and told the secretary that I'd phoned Cheltenham and said they'd sent the results so a few hours later came the phone call. Now I'm just going to have to go through everyone who wanted to know about the results... :sigh:

Are you shooting skeet, or something else entirely?
