There is some kid (or young guy) who wears a head cam 24/7 and broadcasts it live on the internet. He seems to be connected at all times. When he is out driving and whatnot you can see it. You can also hear what he hears too of course. I discovered this when I was watching G4 today, they interviewed him and he was wearing that silly webcam like a borg drone. You can check it out at justin.tv[^] Unfortunately I cant really watch it because I have dial-up.

Wow, that's great. Those who have no life can watch someone else without a life. Isn't that called recursion?

        cheers, Chris Maunder

It is interesting to watch, I can only see a second until it screws firefox and destroys my bandwidth since I have dial-up. It can be educational to watch people's behaviors and habits. Learning every intricate detail some someone and his buddies can be a tremendous benefit to those who can leverage that knowledge. If we only have a few hundred of these people all over the world we could learn a lot. I can just imagine some scientist in a dark room and I could see the reflection of his big screen off his glasses as he watches several people at once while analyzing them in detail. Do you watch people in real life? I don't think you do and people are hiding many things and he is likely to slip up and get used to his cam adventures and act normal as if he is in private and you will see behavior normally hidden to others.

Actually I love people watching. There's a limit, though, to the value you are going to get by watching one person (or a few people) all the time. It can quickly become creepy voyeurism. We could always start a psychological analysis of what drives someone to seek this amount of attention. Someone wasn't hugged enough when they were young? Or is it merely financial?

He has financial motives and he wishes to get other people to do this. He mentioned a girl in New York who may do this. However I believe he just likes the feeling of being "famous". Knowing he is sharing his life with so many people, its like communication with many people without even saying anything. I don't see how he could do this though, I would be paranoid and it would probably give me psychological damage especially if something bad happened as a result of being watched like this. He even has people typing to him telling him to do things. Its like schizophrenia to the extreme. YO DAWG WHATS UP! I SEE YOUR SLIMY N****** A** EATING A BOWL OF CERIAL That above is an example of what my little brother's online friend said to him, that is pretty disturbing and I can only imagine the manny other people who do this to him. Even if it is weird, it may make him rich and it can provide good entertainment.

Whatever his motives are if he does it long enough it will fuel a new kind of research especially if more people opt to do it. It's possible that stuff like this might also be harmful to society in certain ways too. I mean if we lower our inhibitions enough what *WON'T* we be opposed to doing or having done to us. Plain English from the 80s? You don't like it do you? You have made an infinite loop signifying what your posts will always be about this topic. You simply attached a node to the end of the thread that does all the discussing for you...

There are some issues though. So does this guy plan on giving up his sex life? Or does the CAM sex it up too? If so now you've got some societal issues. I don't mean to be sick but seriously how will he really manage this 24x7?

There are some issues though. So does this guy plan on giving up his sex life? Or does the CAM sex it up too? If so now you've got some societal issues. I don't mean to be sick but seriously how will he really manage this 24x7?

Heh heh. True. Well any discussion he has about anyone or anything will probably offend someone. Add flatulance to the list as well. It seems this guy doesn't want to date anymore.
