Tried to install SP1 for Visual Studio 05

Sorry if I've missed forum... I wanted to install SP1 for VS05. I ran the SP1 setup and after a ~30min I get an error (see here[^]). When I click on OK, progress bar moves a bit, but constantly displaying this error. Then I canceled the installation and tried one more time, and still same error. I got this SP1 from my colleague and he installed it with no error(s). Now, Outlook07, MSN and VisualStudio05 doesn't work. I can't start them. What to do? What is the problem with installing SP1? How I can fix Outlook, MSN and VisualStudio05 (reinstall as last option)? Thanks.

As far as I understood, it involves reinstalling (dammit)... VS.net, MSN and whole office 07 I have to reinstall. Thanks for the link, Dave...
