I've seen this done with Google Mail (gMail), Flickr, and I believe MS is doing it now. Basically, a user has a directory on a web site that they can upload files to. Instead of always uploading files there, they might want to Map that online directory as a network drive on their computer. Does anyone know how this is done or where any resources on this are hidden? It's a technology that is overlooked by many, but it's a very useful one and userfriendly one. Thanks

You could also create a desktop shortcut that links to :- ftp://username:password@your.ftpserver.com That's assuming your website supports FTP uploads.
