I usually average around 6 hours. Then there are days when I manage with even 2 hours. I try to make up with a 10 hr sleep after a few 2 hr sleep days. Nish

I always aim for 8 hours, but usually it's between 6 and 7. Although some nights I can sleep for 10 or more hours for no apparent reason. I'm a very light sleeper also - the sound of people talking outside my house is enough to wake me. Simon I need your clothes, your boots, and your copy of VS.NET. Sonork ID 100.10024

perhaps 8 hours is bad for me, thats why I feel wrecked. :-D Most days I don't manage the full 8 even though I try for them, If I'm lucky I'm asleep for midnight and then the alarm goes off at 6:45am. :(( Michael :-)

Depends on the day, some days I'll get 4 hours and feel great other days I'll sleep 8-12 and feel like crap. James Simplicity Rules!

8-9 hours is normal. I work from home so those hours slide as needed. Let's see, last night was an 8 hour night! :)

People that sleep for 12 hours are always groggy because the body hibernates and your metabolism drops, etc. The average adult in their 20's doesn't need more than six hours of sleep per night unless you workout, in which cause you'll need eight hours to allow your muscle fibers to repair. It'll be a rocky road at first, but your body will adjust to six hours of sleep after a few days to forcing it to. Jeremy L. Falcon Homepage : Sonork = 100.16311

I average about 4 hours a night. When I try to sleep in on weekends, I snap awake after about 5. Personally, I resent the hell out of the hours each night that I'm required to spend unconscious and unproductive.
