No, this is called hard-ball business. Microsoft decided that if you live by the sword, you die by the sword. Apple is now learning this in Europe. The fact is that Google is one of the companies that decided to compete through the courts and is now going to discover that their original enthusiasm for this type of crap might have been misplaced.

MS wants to be "monopolitic" even in monopoly. :sigh: very unfortunate !

it means they want to separate the north and south poles of a magnet so that it's no longer a dipole. Succefully doing so would be worth a trip to Stockholm so I can see why people would be interested.

Microsoft Asks US Government to Prevent Google's Purchase of DoubleClick[^] Just days after Google announced its plans to purchase DoubleClick, the number-one player in the non-search online advertising market, Microsoft representatives publicly asked the US government to intervene. Although no formal complaints have been made to US or international antitrust regulators yet, Microsoft issued a statement noting that the Google-DoubleClick deal will let Google monopolize online advertising. The irony. I'm actually with Microsoft on this one.

            cheers, Chris Maunder

That means , it's arrogant and saying "Only I should be the king in monopoly. Nobody ever should try to behave like me".

The spelling I was asking you about. That ought to be monopolistic, then.

Ah you are the spelling-polistic there ;P? You could've mentioned this instead of asking "What the hell does that mean". :sigh: You know I'm quite poor in the language :sigh:
