Hi Josh, I think it is only the Aussies Cricket team which people don't like envy because they win all the time. I don't think that anyone is against Aussie fans. I have seen many people are fans of individual Aussie cricket players like Waugh and Ponting but they don't like the team.:)

Im not looking to stir up trouble but can you tell me why the rest of the world is so anti-Australian cricket and why that feeling often also extends to Aussie cricket fans as well?

Uhm I don't know anyone who does not like Aussie cricket fans. And I don't think people are actually anti-Australia as such. It's just that if one team dominates too much, it kills the sport. Like what the West Indies did in the 70s and the 80s. Those times, everyone wanted to see them being beaten. Right now it's so hard to beat Australia that when it happens it's an awesome match. For similar reasons I loved seeing Sampras being beaten because usually he was guaranteed to win. And that just kills the "uncertainty" factor :-)

                                  Regards, Nish

Hey Nish, Im not looking to stir up trouble but can you tell me why the rest of the world is so anti-Australian cricket and why that feeling often also extends to Aussie cricket fans as well? Josh

Josh, I belong to the rest of the world (non-Australian). And I want Australia to win this worldcup. Please note that I don't talk much about cricket. I find the Australian team to be truly professional and they should win the very well deserved cup. Good luck.
