I've always been curious what the point of post voting is. I always vote for people that have been helpful, but what is that doing for them? Just curious, Dustin

Other than its use in the programming forums to mark good answers, it's a fun feature for some people. You can vote down or vote up posts purely for the sake of it and end up feeling you've done something cool. Take a look at all the cricket threads here - despite being clearly marked as a cricket-topic, the header-post as well as every reply in the thread get a good flow of 1-votes. Of course this just serves to tell the O.P. (usually Satips) that his thread is getting a lot of attention and spurs him on to more threads :-)

        Regards, Nish

You get enough points and you can use them for fully paid vacations in far away exotic places such as Milwaukee and Altoona.

Sorry, but for Cleveland you really need some serious points. Start saving up. Here, I'll help you out a little - take a 5 out of petty cash.
