Four-five years I think, but that is really not important. I would not use that sort of language at the pub, let alone in a professional forum. The frequency at which you turn to teenage vulgarity is why I asked. "You must be a loose pussy with a yeast infection" -- is that how you'd talk in front of your mother? If I cared squat about you I would be disgusted.

I'm pretty sure i remember how David wrote when he was your age - and as vulgar as he might have been at times, it never approached this sort of tasteless, humorless, worthless spew. Show some respect. If not for the other people on this forum, then for the older and wiser CSS that will someday have to live down the reputation you're building for him.

Yeah, freedom, self-determination, tolerance, forgiveness, charity, democracy. Democrats believe strongly in those things even though those things are diametrically opposed to traditional American principles. At least those supposed principles espoused by your brand of rightists.

As they define them... Freedom - from personal responsibility. self-determination - as defined by a cradle to grave welfare system. Tolerance - of the Marxist ideal. Forgiveness - without accoutability (except for Republicans) Charity - to those according upon their needs from those according to their ability and enforced by the law. democracy - unless vetoed by the courts.

And calling Rangers pussies is okay with you? Why haven't you voiced your displeasure with him? I was simply making a comparison between the average ranger and him. If he thinks rangers are pussies then he must be a loose pussy with a yeast infection. Its simple to understand, it even has the extra kick to make it very offensive which is desirable in a post like that. The soapbox is not really a professional forum. It may be located on a programming/IT/technical website, but its NOT used to rant about tech issues.

            David Wulff wrote:

The frequency is minimal in real life or any other forum, not that thats relevant to anyone here. There is a massive number of middle aged folk who have plenty of fucks and shit and pussies to shout out, just because one is older, that doesn't mean the person holds back thoughts or pulls punches. Maturity is not being civil at all times no matter what the circumstance.

            David Wulff wrote:

is that how you'd talk in front of your mother?

Of course not, not that she would care anyways. I try to maintain a steady mood and easy going attitude at all times. Even when discussing politics with people face to face I don't get into it. For instance I was talking to a black girl at work about why she doesn't like Bush and loves Bill Clinton. She said she didn't know why she didn't like Bush but she liked Clinton because he was black. Normally in the soapbox I would rant on with insults and profanity, however in this case I laughed knowing he wasn't black or even acted black for that matter and then said to her, "you should judge a president on how he runs the country not by his character". What gets me here is that there is a lot of hypocrisy among the CPians in the soapbox, drive by voting and such. Then there are people who get offended over patterns of black on white pixels on their computer screens and have a fit over it. It shows how weak people are. -- modified at 15:56 Friday 27th April, 2007

This is exactly the point of the original message. It seems I have discovered something offensive that I can now use to my advantage.

This is the soapbox and if you have noticed, which I'm pretty sure you have, there is a notice at the top that says enter at your own risk. The original post was for Ed, he has no respect for the rangers. Calling them pussies, if he thinks they are pussies then what is he? I'm sure he ain't no uber tough bad ass. Keeping with the analogy, he called them pussies, so he must be a loose pussy with a yeast infection. Now are you going to talk to Ed about his fowl language and lack of respect to not only the people on this forum but the Rangers also? I doubt you will or anyone else for that matter. The older wiser CSS will not worry about what people on a internet forum think about him nor do I now. I don't come here to try to make a good impression so someone might consider contacting me for work. I doubt that would ever happen anyways since my articles are so simple and I hardly ever answer programming questions on the forums. Right now programming is just a hobby, I really enjoy it and thats why I do it. If I want to make money programming I will figure out a way, software is an extremely diverse market and I can come up with a product and make it usable on the first version.

Of course not. I expressed my opinion. And still managed to do it without being excessively vulgar. I could express your opinion without being vulgar as well, but then what would you learn?

Not about his language. Actually you did not express an opinion at all, you asked a question. What is so hard to understand? You got your self into this situation now face the music. You are a hypocrite who discriminates.

Do you have something against discrimination? I find it a very useful technique. Perhaps you've been discriminated against for something you had no control over? Rest assured - i'm discriminating on aspects that are well within your power to change.

Seriously, you have got to watch that language. Just yesterday Josh Grey and I got into something like this. What I took away from it was that people on the web really loose a sense of reality and say things they would never say face to face with someone. I for one have been guilty of this in the past and I've even directed it at you. Sorry. Now, back to watching the language. You never know who is on the other end it could lead toward getting your ass kicked one day.

That would be foolish because I take physical threats very seriously. I have absolutely no tolerance for it. The person would end up with a few very deep cuts or his eyes mashed into his brain.

But, along that vein, would you say what you said to someone face to face?

Yeah, if someone says rangers are pussies then I can confidently say that he is a loose pussy with a yeast infection and if he don't like it he can go fuck him self. If he is a bitch then the bitch ain't gonna do shit but bitch.
