Every so often I venture outide of the CP and MS domains, and I get hit quite often with the stupid gator crud, that asks if I'll download and install it. The Options are (yes or no, and always trust gator Corp). Of course I hit the "no button" everytime. But why isn't there an option "Never trust gator Corp". ? I'll write to Bill on Monday and suggest it unless someone can tell me how to make a hack to add it. Regardz Colin J Davies

Gator has managed to fester itself on most of our uni computers. It's a useless piece of crap anyway, and it's loaded with spyware. Simon I need your clothes, your boots, and your copy of VS.NET. Sonork ID 100.10024

I encountered it on a friends PC about a Yr ago and managed to remove it with some free tool, but less than a wek later he or somone else had clicked "Yes" again. :-( I just sort of think if you can have a list of accepted sec cert providers you could have a list of banned ones as well. Darn simple really. Regardz Colin J Davies

Can you go into the settings for IE and add gator corps site to the restricted zone? James Simplicity Rules!

I'll take a look at that. Possibly its available from more than one place though. Also a Hack to make IE stop having javascript-popups would be good. I realise there are system apps that will do this for you, but it would be nice to fix it all with a hack. Regardz Colin J Davies
