http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/entertainment/new_media/newsid_2010000/2010455.stm Whilst this is pretty sad, it does illustrate a point. More and more people are expecting the stuff on the internet to remain free, yet more and more web-sites are charging for "premium content". Michael :-)

Damn, it is sad listening to all those internet whiners. How dare someone charge to recover costs or god forbid MAKE MONEY off of something. The shame, the shame. Tim Smith I know what you're thinking punk, you're thinking did he spell check this document? Well, to tell you the truth I kinda forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this here's CodeProject, the most powerful forums in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question, Do I feel lucky? Well do ya punk?

Well, what I can't tell you is that I didn't expect Yahoo! to charge the POP3 and Autoforward options. That really hurt me! :(( Best regards, Alexandru Savescu

Hosting video is not the cheapest activity in the world, and since there is (almost) no money in advertising, I think it's perfectly reasonable to charge a small fee for contenet. However, I subscribed to the free 14-day trial of big bro, and I haven't been able to connect to the high-bandwidth stream. It's reasonable to pay for content, but only if the content is up most (if not all) of the time. Anyone else tried to connect and failed? Cheers, Paul
