which should i do. stay at my current company - + loads of new technology + lots of work. - rubbish atmosphere (no one talks), no team spirit. Or go back to my old place + much better atmosphere (very good team spirit) + been offered a LOT of money - not got the track record for helping you to keep your skills up to date. ...old place may involve less .net and more java too. not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. can't decide whether to go for the money, or stay where i am.

There is always a third option and that is to find somewhere completely new.

Upcoming events: * Glasgow: SQL Server 2005 - XML and XML Query Plans, Mock Objects, SQL Server Reporting Services... Never write for other people. Write for yourself, because you have a passion for it. -- Marc Clifton My website

Yeah that's true. But I'm lucky that both of these places are within 30 minutes drive of where I live. I'm so used to not having to commute that I'm restricting myself to being local, that way i spend more time with family.

The good atmosphere and team spirit is very important in a job. Other things can change. And if you know the place and you get a lot of money. Where is the doubt?

          Regards, Diego F.

Even driving is a pleasure right. I have a 45 minute to 1 hour drive through everyday. :)
