Why bother?

I called a "customer" and left a detailed voicemail. He calls backs and says "What did you want?" He hadn't even bothered to listen to it. Just saw my number in the log. So I had to repeat the whole thing.

I have owned phones that will not show that there is a voicemail until you call the missed call back, or go through a couple menus to "dismiss" the missed alert. So there is a chance they didn't realize they had a voicemail until after they called you back.

The old Nokia bricks did that.

It would not affect me or my family one iota. My wife and I are in charge of when the tv is on, and what it displays. I do not need any external input for that.

Make it a habit of doing that # whatever to block your caller ID. Then they'll be forced to listen the message. Marc

At my work we have a help desk department and a developers department, and even though I work in the developers department the head of HR calls me for her computer issues. Once she called me and asked me how to save a file. I told her to call help desk, but she keeps calling me. It’s annoying to say the least.
