None. Go out walking a bit, read books, go to the theater, stop loosing your time with video games.

      PS3.

I concur, although games for the PS3 have been coming out too slowly and with mixed reviews. Still, as an MP3 player, photo player, DVD player, Blu-ray player, and HD game player, it shines.

Yep, I downloaded a demo of Ninja Gaiden Sigma the other night. It features a complete level of the game and really gives you a feel for what a great game it's going to be.

But the 360 can play mp3's, show pictures, play dvd's and has HD games. Not only that but it has lots of intergration with Media Centre PC's if you have one and will happily connect to WMP 11 if thats on a PC on your network. It'll also happily connect to any USB devices you plug in such as external hard drives. Yeah the saxis controller on the PS3 has wirless (just like the Xbox 360) but it's missing the rumble capability, the one advantage the PS3 does have is tilt capability. Also the 360 has a demos section on Xbox Live. So the only features you've mentioned here that stands out is the Blue Ray player part, which is a good reason to buy a PS3 if you want a BR player.

Yep, that's something I wish the PS3 had. :sigh:

Yep. But I think the XBox makes up for it by having a lot more high-rated native games available for it. Hopefully the PS3 will catch up at some point. In the mean time, I'm looking at that Wii thingy. :)

Sony have made a bid deal over the BR providing more space for the games of tomorrow but multidisc games have never been a problem in the past. I'm definatly looking to get a Wii in a few months :) been wanting one for ages but I can never get to the store when they're in stock. It'll be a long time before I even think about a PS3, I love the Final Fantasy games and the Front Mission series too but Sony are turning into the evil empire at the moment ;)

A PC. You can do other things with it and upgrade it. I was going to buy a Mac until Lord of the Rings Online came out. *sigh* Now I need to upgrade so it looks even prettier. ;P

Right now, the 360 is better because of game quality. There are a small handful of games for the PS3, and only one is worth a mention. The PS3 has more power, but it's not being utilized yet. I would say 360 now, or wait for things to materialize for the PS3. Waiting will most likely result in a price break.

For me? A PC (neither), hence my qualification that this is still a personal decision. If you want high-tech, PS3 is better, if you want most games on a console, Xbox-360 is better, if you want the widest choice and performance PC beats them all. If you don't care about number and only technical quality of the games PS3 "might" be a leader, but if you want overall stability and general playability, XBox "might" again be a leader. It all comes down to personal use. So I guess to answer your question, without additional qualifications, my answer would have to be: both, neither, and either.

I finished WoW III + Frozen Throne (happily never got enough addicted to play over the Internet), and I felt like: -"Wow, I have finished it ", thinking 20s :) :| , and "Actually, what a loss of time... I could have learned ten programming languages by then". :^) So I know what I am talking about.
