I had to make beef-stuffed poblano peppers. habanero, serreno, ground round.... rice... salad.... neener! neener! ;P now I just have to keep from rubbing my eyes until after the peppers are ready.... and keep washing them... habanero oils sting just a ... teeny bit.

I've been on a whole wheat pasta with a sauce made with mushrooms, red onions, tomatoes, green onions and red peppers (plus garlic and fresh basil) kick lately.

Yes I agree - nothing that fresh could be nice. Gotta be processed, then deep fried. Preferably containing reclaimed meat - I love that stuff

Once you get used to eating fresh it's hard to go back. If I eat white pasta in a restaurant I feel ill later. The one thing I love thought that is deep fried....hot wings. We get the Hooters bread coating and sauce, a bag of wings, and lots of napkins. We are getting a Buffalo Wild Wings here in town. My hubby and I are drooling with anticipation.

disposable gloves help a whole lot with that. :) On the other hand it's strange protecting your skin from something that you are planning to put in your mouth.

I had whole wheat linguine with zucchini, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms the other night. It took me a while but I like the whole wheat stuff now. Though, macaroni and cheese still calls for the white pasta.

which is why I don't. I just have to protect my eyes. And since my eyes would complain if I poured milk in them too, I don't think that is a problem. Since I use the capsaicin creams on muscles (they are somewhere in there), I am actually accustomed to chili oils on the skin. But there are just a few places you do not touch after handling hot peppers or using a capsaicin cream. One of those is your eyes. The others... well... I think they would be just as obvious. :) And if you ever forget.... well, you will have ample incentive to remember next time.
