As a few of you know, I had been interviewing at a few companies outside of LA, because I'm tired of living here. On Friday, I accepted an offer from VMware[^]! :-D They're in Palo Alto[^] so I'll be moving up there and getting settled in before I officially start working there next month. The best part - they use WTL for their Win32 apps. :cool:

congrats on the new job and good luck for the move. We use VMware where I work - great product. Palo Alto is north of LA, yes ? - quite a lot of technology up there - Tibco from what I remember are there as well (we use them, too) ...anyway, as I said good luck (moving can be stressful), but the scenery/life hopefully will be better 'g'

There is quite a lot of tech up there, it's Silicon Valley. ;)

H Mike. Congratuations with your new job at VMware and the opportunity to move to Sillicon Valley :) BY CAR, BY PLANE, THEY COME. They just show up. They've given up their lives elsewhere to come here. My mom lives there, and I spent 8 or so years there (ages 16-24) before moving to San Diego. I hate the place. :) Congested, snooty people, and expensive.
