Hi. Are you aware of the existence of any free program able to edit pdf documents? Or some other program able to convert pdf to doc/rtf and then back to pdf. I'm not interested in any trial or demo. Thanks.

I'm afraid I am not aware of such a program. It might exist, and if it does then I'd hazard a guess that it would be somewhere on the internet - if only there were some way to search for it[^]. ;)

Nice one :) I did a lot of searching and it would seem that such a piece of software is nowhere to be found.

I think open office has a PDF creator dunno if it allows for editing of existing PDFs though. And also it seems to be a bit funny on trying to make you pay for it these days.

If you have MS Office 2007 there is a PDF file utility that is free somewhere on the Microsoft site. Adobe's lawyers prevented it being bundled but you can still download it yourself.

I use a rudimentary trick by writing a console application, reading the contents using ITextSharp. Then rewriting it. Somewhat passionate towards coding.:)

For sure a stupid thing that you will already know, but... Copying the entire document and pasting it into an editor like word and then print it again to pdf using pdfcreator? Hope this helps...
