I was looking for a PDF editor, I've trialed quite a few, but they all seem extremely crappy! Best option that I've found so far is the PrimoPDF printer thing, and use Word as an editor. I expected more options though in the editor department *scratch head*. And rather than creating tons of crappy stuff, I prefer they combine their efforts and create a few decent editors for a little more money.

Foxit PDF Editor[^]? I've never used it but the reader software is good.

Stability. What an interesting concept. -- Chris Maunder

Yeah, tried it, but it's still pretty bare bones at the moment. I was initially thinking the same thing as you though, having experienced their reader. :-)

Yeah, I haven't checked out their pro version yet... but Word + free print plugin works pretty well so far, so it would be hard to justify its cost.

I thought you meant Chuck Norris (there was a joke posted a few days ago saying he can edit PDF files). :)

Dude! Chuck Norris doesn't edit anything - he simply stares at it till it edits itself.

If you need to edit existing PDFs, I have no solution for you. If you simply need to get a good pdf from a word document (as you seems to do right now), do it through OpenOffice, which has an embedded "export to pdf".

I swear this is becoming almost the daily post here. I've seen requests for PDF editors many many times in the past but this has got to be the third this week.

Yeah, I did see the other posts... I'm starting to realize that pdf is not really an editable document format, it always needs to be generated from something else, because it's a low level display format.
