I have made a Browser for learning English. It is useful for me. And it may also be useful for people to learn English or Japanese. I think net users call for Personalised Browsers too. http://shinji1.hp.infoseek.co.jp[^] Please download and try it.

I read essentially the same article three years ago and three years before that and three years before that.

you could almost write a book about the articles that come up every 3-5 years. 1) Personalized everything 2) Programmers out of work (everyone and anyone can write code because of smart systems) 3) AI (not your turing test stuff, but serious independant thought) 4) Simulate everything (no physical testing, no guessing, everything can be created without expending even building a simple piece of hardware) 5) No figurative wheels will ever be reinvented, because everyone is sharing (see below) ... and many more. Then you get into specific industries.... The most common military myth: 1) everyone talks to everyone and shares everything  Even assuming classification is not an issue, that industry has more turf wars than any other industry I have seen. Every force (army, navy, air force, coast guard, national guard, etc.) is an island, every company that talks to a force is an island, heck there are division islands within companies than share Zilch with their own company. BUT, time will solve that.... yeah right.... I'll wait for the report again in 3 years.

:~ I said 'Personalised Browser'. But I meant as 'Browser for the particular purpose'. Not as 'Browser for each person'. So,I have made a Browser for my purpose of learning English. And it may be useful for anyone to have same purpose and of learning Japanese. And it is useful, because web content have become useful more and more. So not everyone but programers should make browsers for the various purpose. And provide them. I think it is not a solution to select 'personalisation' from 'search' and 'personalisation'. :)
