A long time ago, a wise man in the Islamic country "basically the cousin of prophet Mohammad" had a problem dealing with three men fighting over a fortune that they ware all sharing it in different percentages..

    They were 17 camels.
The first man's share in those camels was half of the whole fortune.
The second's share is one third.
    The thirds was one ninth.

What would you do if you were middled in this?? ps. The answer will be posted in one hour starting from now. pss. POTD should stand for Puzzle Of The Day.

I'd add my own camel for free and then give them 18/2 = 9 18/3 = 6 18/9 = 2 Giving them all exactly what they're due and leaving my camel for me to ride away on before they decide they've been had.

Nothing is exactly what it seems but everything with seems can be unpicked.

Say "here have my camel" then the total becomes 18, and easily dividable [edit] which gives 9 camels to the first guy, 6 to the second, 2 to the third, leaving your camel left over to ride home on :) [/edit]

Thanks for the hint, I always mix these two homophones and the bad thing is that you dont get any spelling error for both words exist:doh:

I would get a butcher, and divide the camels up into steaks.

Why not shoot one of the men, then give the other 2 time to run away. That way, you get all 18 camels. :wtf::wtf::wtf:

Why not shoot one of the men, then give the other 2 time to run away. That way, you get all 18 camels. :wtf::wtf::wtf:

No, but I'm curious now. Have you? I'm guessing people eat them, like they do horses.

We picked up 20 kilos of Camel meat for a barbeque 60 miles south of Kuwait, at a place called Logistical Base Bastogne. The meat was somewhat tough, but that was mostly because we insisted that the meat be fresh. (No refrigeration in the town) We cooked the **** out of it and that probably made it tougher. It tasted a lot like beef, and the cuts had some gristle as well. Properly seasoned and prepared, (Lots of Bar-B-Que Sauce, etc) Camel is pretty tasty. MRE's can't compare. When visiting foreign lands in the back of a Blackhawk, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco is a must. Det cord and Parachute cord come in handy as well. smiles...
