Hi, do you know of a simple VB.NET code for username and password validation that does not involve the use of stored procedure or appsetting? I've found several that use stored procedures and other complicated stuff that I don't yet understand. I'm new to web development and I'm trying to go from the really simple stuff to the more advance stuff one step at a time. It would be great if you could point me to an online tutorial. Thanks in advance for your help. -- modified at 1:13 Saturday 16th June, 2007

There are a lot of examples out there that are not as complicated. Google "VB.NET sql query"[^]
