My internet was slow to the point of useless last night, this morning it would not work at all. I called them several times, they said 'there is no outage'. I have two PCs that are set up to dial, so it's easy for me to prove that it's not a PC issue. At 11:30 am, 5 1/2 hours after my first of about 5 calls, they finally admit, they have a nation wide outage. Nation wide !! and it takes them at least 5 hours to work it out ? So, I am at my in laws to check my mail, before I slink off to a webless home and do what I can without an internet connection for the day. They are just useless.

Switch to Internode if you can. They seem to be more reliable and have better support services. Dejan Petrovic

I am on an internode connection right now ( my in laws ). I cannot get ADSL, and only Telstra has wireless.

And you are still with them?!?!? :omg: I just gave up one day, after waiting half an hour to talk to someone, I called an other provider and I was satisfied in 2 minutes!

Well I don't know about Tasmania but when I lived in Sydney I just take a look at the yellow pages and there was heaps of internet provider. As one of my relative work for IINET[^] I should also mention them! ;)

The governments new broad band plans rate all of Tasmania as rural, and therefore not part of the deal. We can get ADSL in parts of Tassie, but not where I am.
