I need to stay away from this thread for the day. Brazil is my favorite team, I recorded the match but I didn't see it yet. But I expect Brazil to win, they are the Champs. One good thing about getting older, you don't lose the ages you've been!

I sincerely hope that Portugal beats up US by one gol, scored on the 90º minute with a no existent penalty ;P Cheers, Joao Vaz A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person - Natalie Portman (Padme/Amidala of Star Wars)

basically "take advantage of everything"? well, i believe that your national team is far too good to need things like that. anyway, referees are the weakest part of the championship so far, e.g. yesterday penalty for spain against slovenia. what makes me angry is that these mistakes are always done in favor of "bigger" teams. but, i guess it's all the part of the game. :)

For the players the best of the best are selected, bud for the referees !! There should be a qualification process for referees just like for national teams. And then this strange rule no more than 1 referee from any country. I don't want to pick on referees of other parts of the world, bud I think the best referees come from where professional high level soccer is played (Europe, South America). I am a signature virus! Help me spread and copy me to your sig! Ooops I am infected
