my own choice i wouldnt by a HP full stop, ive had 3 and the last one has this silly ink cartage problem were it gives an error after about 30days, trick is to swop between 3 as it doesnt hold more than one of the cartages IDs but still its annoying and a bit on the cheap side, now i cant prove this but if you check the net there are a number of posts on said matter. nor can i check the software as thats breaking the law X| but hey all manufactures are probably doing the same, is there a reason you must have a HP? cannon seems the better in the market at the moment (cheap printers and ink/toners) lexmarks = expensive (cheap hardware not so cheap toners/ink) anyone has any other brands and maybe the time to put a price list up would be great for me as well ;)

Brother has always been a good brand for us, never looked at colour lasers though but we've got a couple of B&W ones and they work they're socks off and work well (even a cheap £100 is accurate to 1/1000" for our printed circuit boards).

Epson is nice...we mostly have widebed models here, but the standard one does a good job as well. You should check them out, and with Epson you can use a continuous flow system[^], which feeds ink from a bottle instead of a storebought cartridge. Saves a lot of money. But you can only do that with an Epson, because their print heads are mounted on the printer itself, whereas HP and Lexmark uses throw-away printheads that come with the cartrige. Roswell:)
