Hello all, I've been using PDFCreator 0.9.3 for a long time, it generates PDF files perfectly and it's completely free. The problem I've found is that I cannot install it under vista. Any idea (apart from crying)? any substitute? As always thank you in advance...

You can try http://www.pdf995.com/[^], I don't know it'll work on Vista or not, just give it a try.

I'll second CutePDF, it works flawlessly (even under 64 bit).

I'm afraid I don't know, but it is effectively a printer driver so you likely use the printer APIs to control most of it. Maybe programatically printing to a file using the CutePDF printer will do what you want? It is worth a try, alternatively you can try contacting the developers to see if they can help.
