Then there's garbage collection or lack thereof, which you also have to keep in mind depending on the language. All in all, if you are looking for methods to adhere to the form of a Shakespearian sonnet, and the variable names to rhyme, you are definitly in for a boatload of bugs and a stern meeting with the boss. I attack from the engineering side, but am often impressed when the code turns out like a sonnet. I think the application of right technique helps shape the end product as a work of art as well as a solution to an engineering problem.

Somehow, I can't see Shakespeare knocking out: "Shall I compare thee to a null pointer?" Or "Romeo, Romeo, Wherefore art the TreeView in the toolbox Romeo?" 2 reasons: 1 - he's dead 2 - poetry is nothing like programming
