      I don't know, but Vulcan Logic dictates that you point your browser to "http://www.ntsecurity.nu/", look for Arne Vidstrom, and ask the question there.

                    did u try to understand? or u trying to be funny? the file can't be seen in explorer, but it is actually in the root. XP just dun show this file because it lost its ownership setting.

                          I have several files in the root that can't be seen by the explorer...because the "hidden" / "system" file attribute is set and the "Do not show hidden files and folders" setting is selected in Folder Options / View Steve

                                    It would fix the problem of just that file not appearing - nothing else would either.
