I just tapped a summer ale that I've been brewing for a while now. Cheers! I'll have the first pint for you and your big day; the second one will be for me and cleaning out that damn garage.

I am not sure. I congrat'ed Arun, and others are almost like pitying him. IBM can't be that bad, can it?

Seeing other responses, I suppose it can. But I have not read or known anything bad about working there. Maybe Arun can share some experiences someday :) In any case, I wish Arun the best in that new venture.

That would be cool. I have been wondering if IBM paid a visit to his college, if they are trying to do like Google did, with the Summer of Code that has been blabbered about in Dr. Dobb's Journal... OT: How is your free CRM search going?

He's become a household word in the Lounge. A whole new phraseology has evolved. Post a link or reply with a smiley and rose, and you've made a "Satipsism". So what? It's an interesting thing about the Internet, the evolution (as in change, not progress) of tone, quality, terminology, etc. -Marc Clifton. Best wishes to Rexx[^

That is scary then. I wonder if it is like an internship he's getting himself into. If so, who really cares about the layoff history that they have. He'll at least gain some, hopefully good, experience from it.

It's not. A friend did a year's placement in their stress-testing lab in Winchester and the facilities were superb.
