The craven liberal campaign against the first real hope for the poor of Vene zuela is a striking example.:laugh::laugh::laugh: :~ Sorry, I couldn't make it past that. Wow, you guys really are nuts.

Nothing in the entire universe is more useless than morality without authority.

And my response to the premise that the media is controlled by a nefarious, corporate controlled, spin machine designed to promote global capitalism at the expense of struggling social movements around the world is ----- Thank God, I hope it works.

Well whilst you enjoy your weekend, and I hope you do, spare a thought as to why exactly we have a weekend, it was a "struggling social movement" of my forefathers.

No, actually it was the result of Trade Unionism in Britain. [^]No Spaniards or socialists involved...;P

Not quite true. The vast majority of Americans have always had sundays off thanks to Christianity. Saturdays were finally included so that people could have more time to spend their money - thanks to capitalism. Nothing to do with socialism at all.

And the vast majority of Jews have refrained from work on the Sabbath for centuries.

Pilger is a ranting lunatic --- he jumps from one thing to another with absolutely no transition. You call this "journalism"??
