Hacking msn id ?

Heya, How can one hack the msn id. Well i don't know there is one guy who always hack my msn id all the time. I have changed it lot many times keeping really difficult password, keeping hint questions really tough. But still this guy has hacked my id. Well one of my friend yesterday told me that i was online whereas i was not. And i am sure that was the same guy again. Is there any way i could take action against him..?? Now i don't know any details of that person except his msn id.... Any help would be greatly appreciated. ta

Are you asking "How can I get access to someone else's MSN ID" or "How do I stop someone else getting my ID"?

Oh no that's not true....Well i remember 2yrs back he hacked ma id and changed the password. I was not able to access it and it was really important for me to log inn to the msn mail that time. So i asked this guy pretending as if i dont know who hacked it..And asked this guy to help me out in getting my password back. Very next day he called me to give my new password.I knew it was him but i didnt said him anything at that time as i was not having proof. So i am 101% sure that he is the one but i dont have a proof to knock him down.
Okay, so why would someone hack your account, change the password and then call you with the changed password? :confused:

I want to take him to prison for this.As he has stollen my important data and etc etc.... Last time i didnt said him anything but now i think i have to teach him a good lesson so that he gets on with his own life and don't interfere in mine.. I want to get onto his id but in a legal way, I dont want to do anything illegal. So its just to know the ideas how can i knock him down. I would be creating new account and stuff now but to be on a safe side in future and not to worry about that a** h**e, i have to take some action. ta

You can't. It's expressely against the terms of use of MSN and also violates any privacy laws you could name.

Yeh he got into ma account, read the mails, changed the password but as i was bit tensed and my condition with him was not that bad at that time so to show himself great he gave me back the changed password. But now last i saw that guy was 2 yrs back and then something bad happened and he got disappeared after that. And even i moved to another country. So i kind a forgotten all that he did but now things are coming up again. And i really dont wanna be bothered of worrying about my account all the time. So let's see..ill do something good this time. That's for sure...

Yeh i guess msn people could help me out in this..Ill check about that this weekend. As that's what i said its illegal and against the law so he could be easily punished if ill get the proof. So i just have to act bit smart this time and more importantly i have to take my precious time for this stupid stuff....Anyway ill see wt could be the option for me. Or do you think i should give him another chance ?

SoftSpec> What you are describing is not possible via hacking... not unless the perpetrator has direct access to your PC, either through infecting you or sneaking in through your back windows. With your multiple reinstalls I don't see this as being the case. However, it is often very easy to obtain another user's password (to anything). In many cases the "hacker" doesn't need to know anything about you... They just start guessing. An excellent article on a major MySpace phishing attack last year is here: http://www.infoworld.com/article/06/11/17/47OPsecadvise\_1.html The author of this article was able to get his hands on the password list the phishers consolidated. He analyzes the passwords and discusses the most common flaws that allow hackers to guess; I highly recommend reading this. Make sure the password you select is not based on personal info (name of your pet, interests, etc.). Add extra characters, preferably in the middle, make the password ten characters or more (if allowed). Mix case. Bad Password: HarryPotterFan7 Good Password: zseHr{*&PottFn16x Uncheck "remember my password" wherever you log on (MSN, bank sites, etc.). This will force you to type your password more often and help you to remember what you typed. You can write it down and keep it in a secure place at home, but don't keep it electronically on your computer. Make sure you keep up-to-date with all Microsoft updates. Earlier this year a vulnerability was discovered in Internet Explorer, and before Microsoft got wind hackers had exploited it via pop-up ads on MySpace. If you want to identify the hacker, make a second screen-name (or ask a friend to help)... wait for her/him to logon. Initiate a conversation, and send a file (I believe messages do not travel directly to the recipient in MSN, but are routed through an MSN server; however pictures, etc. establish a direct connection. I *think*). Close all other net apps (outlook, web browser, etc.) The goal is to catch her/his IP address. Tools you can use to catch the IP address: - Firewall Logs... if you have a hardware router (between cable modem and your computer), you should be able to enable traffic logging. when you're connected to your perp, check the logs to see who you're sending to. - netstat... open a command prompt. Type 'netstat -a'. Take note of any IP address that isn't you or your ISP. 127.0.0.1 is you. 192.168.anything is also you. You may also see connections to your DNS server... if you type 'ipconfig /all', you will
