I only use the Visual C++ compiler. Why?  Because I was forced to switch from Borland many years ago. Care to dredge up any more bitter memories? :) Mark

C#. And that's after more years than I care to remember working in everything from C, C++ all the way through to languages like Informix 4GL. Seriously, with C# I can just get on with coding solutions without any fuss.

VS 2005 -- because I got it for free. But I use Borland's free command line tools for C/C++.

used to be VS 6 its now VS 2005 cant stand VS6 now... i've done my lump sum of programming on VS2005 so thats why i prefer it :) so maybe when 08 comes out i will change. p.s VS05 has its annoy things but i must work with it so dont have much of a option than to like it or lump it.
