LOL simple someone has just used your email address to send a nice virus as an attachment and it got bounced back to your address. You ask how this is done, it’s called Email address spoofing. You probably have a very simple email address, can you display the header information of the email? It will show the original sender in the header info mostly likely the first email address. So don’t worry, it can be done to anyone and yes it’s annoying but thus is the way email is designed and yes it probably should be changed and have a more secure method. If you want to make it secure so your friends know it’s you look at Digital Signatures. p.s for those who cant see it:

unlikely unless you opened the attachment, as the virus/malware is in the attachment. as the email is in text and not html. dont worry about it, its a common thing on the net. you probably have a very simple (named) email address which has made it to the virus mailers automation dictionary of emails to spoof.

What an excellent idea! If everyone sends me their spam, etc, I can zip it all up in one huge file, and delete all of it in a matter of moments! Let it never be said that I am not willing to provide aid and succour to my fellow man.

What, you're joking? Damn! I was looking forward to pressing the delete button (and then creating an automated system for sending out bills to the people whose spam I'd deleted). Maybe I should advertise the service. Has anyone got one of those CDs of "confirmed" e-mail addresses?
