Just think about the widest audience, you will start discriminating against other cultures if your not careful.

I think it would be better if any new members aren't allowed to post in the lounge or soap box without at least reading 50+ messages so they can get a 'flavour' of whats going on. What seems to happen, is that somebody joins and within days of joining begin to post articles (of a somewhat poor quality) and then engage in conversations without knowing the protocol befind the scenes. (You wouldn't walk into a British pub start butting in a conversion with someone without at least spending time listening and probably making a few signals that you understand what the conversation was about), thats the best analogy I can give.

I have a solution... **[CODEPROJECT CONTENT FILTER ACTIVATION]** The text replaced by this notice was structurally deficient. Well, not really, but everyone seems to be throwing this term around lately, and we decided we wanted to jump on the bandwagon. As you probably already know, this member's posts are usually a shining example of proper use of the English language. However, the text was sprinkled with words, phrases, genetic declarations and suppositions regarding style of dress and monetary exchange that are generally frowned upon by the more (overly) sensitive and humorless (Indian) members of CodeProject. We therefore leave it to you to imagine what he might have said. **[CODEPROJECT CONTENT FILTER ENDS]** ...so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I know lets have a Hindi version of CP, and the guidelines in English - get real this site is targeted to the widest audience, that happens the be the English speaking.

We should translate the entire site to Zulu click language. That would help the hard of hearing also.

Maybe also hand out braille reader to all new members (we don't wont to discriminate the blind members of CP).

I'm not certain but IIRC the languages with clicks in them belong to the bushmen and several other tiny racial/linguistic outposts that managed to avoid being overrun and assimilated/wiped out by living in places that the zulu agriculture didn't work.

Learn English if you want to communicate with the world. You fellows from the Hindi belt that you could f@*k the rest of India by using only Hindi. It turns out that you were the ones who got f@*ked.
