Didn't see this posted here and found it to be really cool so I thought I would share. Sorry if it is a repost. Don't know if anybody else has played with Microsoft's new widget Photosynth at all but the team has paired up with NASA to provide some pretty cool content: News posting: Clickety[^] Cool MSNBC link up and additional content: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20098402/[^] Photosynth actually looks pretty cool and should be fun to play around with. I got it working without a hitch on my IE7 instance, just had to install the active x component and give it permission to install the addition.

Well if the same people who put together the MSDN site did this one, then you can kiss that idea goodbye!

I wish Microsoft would just get on already with Seadragon and Photosynth, I want those technologies released and in my hands now, enough demos and talk it's been seemingly forever they've been working on it. It should have been built into Vista at release.

Just to let you know that I've now tried it at home on IE7 with Vista and it works fine. Brilliant piece of kit.

I found in reading the blog there are allot of hidden functionalities built into it, like pressing 1 at load will run through a tour automatically changing view every 7 seconds. Really neat stuff.
