i received an e-mail, at the bottom,it said: "i shall imagine life is not worth dying,if (and when)roses complain their beauties are in vain but though mankind persuades itself that every weed's a rose, roses(you feel certain)will only smile" i can understand every word! but what is the whole meaning?what did it want to express?

it probably means something like ... when the heart of this flower imagines the snow carefully everywhere descending; nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals the power of your intense fragility: whose texture compels me with the color of its countries, rendering death and forever with each breathing (i do not know what it is about you that closes and opens; only something in me understands the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses) nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands. ;) Steve T.

Thanks, that clears it up... Tim Smith I know what you're thinking punk, you're thinking did he spell check this document? Well, to tell you the truth I kinda forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this here's CodeProject, the most powerful forums in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question, Do I feel lucky? Well do ya punk?

really? Tim. but it gets even more difficult for me to understand! Tim:you clear up? so say something in your own? :-O :-O
zhoujun, In European language cultures some poets seem to take great delight in writing "poetry" that seems to be complete nonsense. E.E. Cummings is one such poet. The really weird thing is that some of them receive high critical acclaim - although no one offering the high praise ever seems to be able to expain what the poetry is about. Maybe some of them do have soem deeper meaning - liker the stream-of-consciousness writings of the beat era, but I think a lot of it is pretensious junk. It's a bit like so-called modern "art" .. someone puts up a transparent trash-basket full of normal bedroom trash .. tissues, tampon wrappers, etc in the Tate Gallery (true case) and it is hailed as art. Personally I think this piece is self describing (trash). Do you have similar "weird" art, poetry, prose, etc. in China that seems to make no sense to the general population, but receives critical acclaim from those "in-the-know"? Steve T. I don't know whether you have

Most people are weed, some are roses. You can't be a rose (your beauty vanishes) when you start complaining etc. Many people try to overcome their own mediocrity by convincing themselfes they are roses not just weed - but a true rose will just smile and know the difference What it could mean to you: Be yourself. Be strong but content. Life is beautiful. Be a rose, and your scent will catch a girl :rose:

The readers say they like it because they are to embarressed to admit they don't understand it.
