Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'

The Mystery Spot[^] The Mystery Spot is a gravitational anomaly located in the redwood forests just outside of Santa Cruz, California. It is a circular area of effect around 150 feet or 46 meters in diameter. Within the Mystery Spot you will be stunned as your perceptions of the laws of physics and gravity are questioned. But don't take our word for it, come and decide for yourself! I visited the Mystery Spot this weekend, and it really is weird. Balls rolling up hill, people leaning at impossible angles without falling over and people changing height according to where they stand on a level surface. Has anyone else been there?

Seriously though I have been there and parts of the structure are sitting at odd angles, nothing is level, therefore the illusion when inside with little perspective of the outside. Like trees, the sky, etc...

We have a place in western South Dakota called Cosmos which does the same thing. It's just an illusion.

It's not a scam... Read the entire signature. (And signatures are just that signatures) Do you really think I would pass a "scam" in the forum. I can't decide which is more idiotic, that notion or you commenting on it. If it was a scam I don't think I would give the link to my primary company in the signature itself. (Phone, address, names etc.) Thanks for policing though.

By fixing your post I do mean correcting yourself as giving people the impression that I am scamming them is insulting and inaccurate!

Interestingly I ran an analysis last night on the lounge posts... 59% of signatures either point to a product for download that is free, for sale, a blog which talks about products for free and for sale and more, if you would like to see it. In fact, let’s look at one of CP's most prolific writers and posters. http://www.codeproject.com/lounge.asp?msg=2182543#xx2182543xx Are you planning on telling Mark that one of his links in his signature is to a page that sells a product? And that it is technically spam. Maybe you should forward the Media Kit link to him. In summation I think it is the content you don't like. My posts are relevant to the topic, and are free form. My signature points to a free service. If someone was to simply put an advertisement in a post response with no actual relation to the post, that I would define as spam. If you look at my posts in the lounge, all are related and generally received well. You should do some checking on your own before flaming me. Rather than just being a jerk. I would have thought being a developer yourself you may actually do a little analysis for yourself rather than just spout off. I was about to just let it go, but after some thought, it is clear you are just making an issue out of nothing! And I don't understand why exactly. Maybe when you create your own CP like or forum you can outlaw those signatures you would prefer to sensor.

The fact that it is in your signature makes no difference its still a freebie advertisement/marketing ploy/scam call it whatever. The same link posted in an email would be called spam - there's another name for it!

The fact that it is in your signature makes no difference its still a freebie advertisement/marketing ploy/scam call it whatever. The same link posted in an email would be called spam - there's another name for it!

I think if the guy is providing a legitimate link to a legitimate company then it doesn't fall into the category of scam or spam. The guy's company is taking responsibility for the offer.. Think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a big difference between people posting a link to their blog, or to a company they work for. Things like this:

Wow, I still take offense... You are implying I didn't create a clear separation between my text and the signature... Unbelievable... You are wrong, no intention on my part. And I just post my signature in the signature portion of the post mechanism. I do not control how close it is placed to the post text. Thanks... P.S. What's up with jabs???
