Statler&Waldorf[^]: Why do we always come here I guess we'll never know It's like some kind of torture to have to watch the show My favorite quip: I've seen soap leave a better film.

From Wikipedia: Both made an appearance in "Marvel Team-Up #74". In this issue Spider-man teams up with the cast of Saturday Night Live to battle the Silver Samurai. Statler & Waldorf appear in typical style as hecklers on a balcony. Hmm...wonder if the hubby has that in his collection!

I have the tune from the Muppet show in my head. I just thought I'd share that with you in all in the hope of infecting you, too.

thank you, you just got rid of "Another Saturday night and I ain't got nobody" from rolling around in my head. It is Thursday, and the radio shouldn't play that on a weekday.... maybe that will help you be rid of yours.... Artist: Sam Cooke Another fella told me he had a sister who looked just fine Instead of being my deliverance, she had a strange resemblance to a cat named Frankenstein Here's another Saturday night and I ain't got nobody I got some money 'cause I just got paid How I wish I had some chick to talk to I'm in an awful way

Big Bird is Sesame St, not the Muppets. I loved the Swedish Chef, and Animal. Bork, bork, bork.

Technically they are all muppets. But some were Muppet Show only. Big Bird was on a couple times. I think with Harry Belefonte.

Watched this growing up and it amazes me now that I am an adult, how adult the show actually was. The extras on the first season show and early pilot which was definately not child friendly. As christian has said Manamana!! Aaron

They were often referred to as Muppets, both in the hollywood and credit side. The differences were that Sesame Street muppets had full-time employment. ;)

I had a professor in college who looked like Beaker. He had those crazy big eyes. He taught numerical analysis and lived a few houses down from me. In seven years I never saw the upstairs lights on. He would drive to the end of the driveway to get the mail. His driveway was maybe 2 car lengths long. I think he's hiding bodies in the basement.

So what you're saying is, keep a close eye on the TV show Cops, we might see you being interviewed "He was quiet. Kept to himself mostly, but I always knew something was wrong ... maybe it was the hands and feet poking up out of his garden ... " :~
