What do you do after the project finished?

Go have a beer.

After the project finished -> means coding and test were completed. What do you do if no task assign to you? Write coding document? or Write refactoring ? or others... -------------------------------------------------------------------- We are drawing flow diagram for important event, like button click... Does this helpful in the future?
Plead with management to schedule into the NEXT project all the change requests which were deferred from the current project.

How about run the program while drinking a beer? While inuberated I'll be close to a normal user and will see if I can find bugs. Most of my big projects have been simulation codes, with many interations. So it would be write 10 lines of code, run code on 200 processors for a couple weeks, rinse and repeat. Spare time read and write papers, analyse data.

A) Ask superiors for a new task. B) If they don't have one, look for a new job. They should be able to figure out some new features their customers would like to see (or worse case, they would like to see) or some new product, or at least have some other product that needs some work. If the answer to all these is no, then they likely don't know their products, the needs of their customers, or what the competition has to offer. You don't want to be working long term for someone so clueless. If they are not clueless, then they are now overstaffed. In other words, no matter how you slice it, it's time to consider leaving.

Just one?:)
Why is common sense not common? Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level where they are an expert. Sometimes it takes a lot of work to be lazy The people in the lounge said I should google for the answer to a programming question but I do not know what search engine to use

spend 4 days filling out review reports on the various components of the 3" stack of documentation that goes with it.

The company I work for does everything in iterations. We go from one working iteration to the next slowly adding features the end users want. My projects are never finished, the users always want more.
