But he may cosider the retiring option after the one day series verses Australia and Pakistans later in this year. It is a bit hard to digest but have to accept.

Interesting - I saw a link on Cricinfo where it said he was considering retiring from ODIs. I thought it was just his PR agents doing a good job - he is batting very well in ODIs now and they probably know that if he attempted to retire now, people would try and stop him. Whereas 2 months ago, everyone would have been happy to see him retire.

Hey, he does not do this often these days, and in fact I haven't seen him post a thread here in ages now. And he did link to the original news article. So I don't see the problem here. I don't think people-specific prejudices have a place here on the Lounge. I personally thought the topic quite interesting.

I read it on Cricinfo - which is the closest to what you have as an official website for cricket.
