The new generation media hardly gives a thought about what they are presenting. Few days back there was news of Sallu-Katrina breakup when Katrina did not turn up to see Sallu after his conviction in chinkara case..

The most charming news agency (CPNews) ranked after Reuter and AP, bringing freshest of the fresh news to our Lounge seems to be back after a brief hibernation.

But he may cosider the retiring option after the one day series verses Australia and Pakistans later in this year. It is a bit hard to digest but have to accept.

Interesting - I saw a link on Cricinfo where it said he was considering retiring from ODIs. I thought it was just his PR agents doing a good job - he is batting very well in ODIs now and they probably know that if he attempted to retire now, people would try and stop him. Whereas 2 months ago, everyone would have been happy to see him retire.

Hey, he does not do this often these days, and in fact I haven't seen him post a thread here in ages now. And he did link to the original news article. So I don't see the problem here. I don't think people-specific prejudices have a place here on the Lounge. I personally thought the topic quite interesting.

                    Regards, Nish

Hardly a prejudice. :| Some boor said Sachin was contemplating retirement, and now another boor says he isn't. Hardly news.

Ok, perhaps you are right. But I have noticed that a lot of people have an issue with Satips - and won't give him a second chance at all.

I read it on Cricinfo - which is the closest to what you have as an official website for cricket.
