[Rugby] France vs. Argentina (result)
-
And the Argies barge it over! Incredible. 12-17 to the Pumas. France really felt host-nation pressure there. They just couldn't get it together and Argentina played their very hardest. Got a bit tense in the second half but France screwed it up one too many times to win. Blows the group of death open to Ireland and Argentina going through. Early days but much less sure for France now. Nice to see a good Southern Hemisphere team that doesn't come from South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.

:( I no longer get the games delayed or otherwise on my TV. I suppose I will have to look for some streams and catch the highlights.

Ah crap, sorry to hear that Chris. Where are you? I feel your pain though. I had to resort to paying $20 a pop for web streams during the cricket world cup.

Good. I always liked rugby (though I don't understand the rules), yet there are none TV Transmitions here. I've watched one or two games, at best, the last year.

Dallas, TX. It's American football country here. Personally I enjoy both sports and really miss rugby which used to at least be shown on ESPN2. Now, somehow poker and nascar are considered sports and get the air time that rugby used to.

I am seriously considering it.

Incredible
Not that much. Argentina is a very good team, it should be integrated in the Tri-nations (it could also be integrated in the 6-Nations tournament, but in the Northern hemisphere we already have a problem with too many games per year, between the national championships, the H-cup and the international games, our players are already playing too many games per year) Argentina played well, we did not. The Pumas deserved to win. If in the end we win the cup, it will be despite our coach.
