Lamborghini revealed their latest creation at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It costs $1.000.000 and there will only be 20 units produced. I think Batman is one of their clients. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/09/11/frankfurt-motor-show-the-lamborghini-reventon-revealed/[^]

The Bugatti Veyron has ruined car discussions. It doesn't matter if you are comparing super-minis, 4x4s or super-cars. Someone, somewhere at some-point will say "Those all suck, the Bugatti Veyron is ultimate." I freaking posted about the Audi A5 and had my post destroyed by a "Bugatti Veyron" deus ex machina post. For god sakes people! *gets a brown paper bag*

Absolutely right! I remember the hijack of the A5 topic. Any mention of the name Veyron should be instantly be decalred and marked as Off-Topic in such a thread, as it has nothing to do with cars.

That may be so (a personal opinion) but to be honest at least it has the chance of becoming iconic.  Though it has a long way to go to beat the most iconic of all[^]

$1,000,000?  That isn't much when you consider it against other cars of the same calibre.  For example on it's exclusivity it's coming up on par with the McLaren F1 and the last one I heard of being sold was sold for over £1,000,000 nearly twice as much.

I'd like to see a Veyron doing this[^] ;P Besides the Koeingsegg (or however you spell it) CCX was redone to use biofuel and although it hasn't gone into production has more horses under the bonnet than the Veyron.  And to be honest the McLaren F1 was achieving speeds like the Veyron 10 years ago.

:-D That was fun, thanks Ed. First time I've heard of a Range Rover being the David in a David and Goliath battle though :-D As for the Koeingsegg, a smidgen less annoying in discussions than the Veyron. The Koeingsegg is what the real car people mention when people who don't know much about cars mention the Veyron. Real know-it-all ;)
