I hate websites that ask you your email address and password so they can send out an invitation to everybody in your address book to sign up at their site. I hate the people who give their email address and password even more.  I got an invitation to try out Shelfari from somebody I don't know. The name rings a bell; I think she's a trainer who taught a one-day course at my previous company 2 years back. She added my email address to her address book and the cretins at Shelfari have sent me an invitation. :| The kicker: The email I got says If you believe you do not know this person, you may view his/her Shelfari page and gives a link. Guess what? You can't see the page unless you sign up. Die, Shelfari, die! X| I'm opting out of this pile of dung.

    Cheers, विक्रम
