Chris, Take a look at this slander crap that's going on in the following article: http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/slickskins.asp Look at all that garbage posting berating this guy. It certainly would make me think twice about posting anything. Most of those wouldn't have the gall to say things like that if they had to sign it with their name. Please put a stop to this. How old are we anyway?!?!

There once was a flamer Anonymous,
    Whose postings were really abominous.
    It seems that his aim,
Was to hurt and to maim,
    And cause much discomfort abdominous.

    His actions were quite ignominious,
    Egregious and even insidious!
    Discussions ensued
    On what could be doed
    To thwart like purveyors perfidious.

Twas ordered in council by quorum,
To gate and put rates in the forum.
    No posting anon
Would be seen from now on!
Oh, and limericks? No more room for 'em!

Er... with apologies... things a bit slow in the 'tim cube' today...

But why would you like to have fun flaming someone which would hurt them? To me when I say "flame" I don't mean a personal attack (unless warrented). But really that Bill SerGio went out there asking for it. I mean really. His shameless self promotion puts him in the line of fire. And in so doing he has a choice - either take the flak (either by being quiet or fighting back), or he can step down from his high horse and see that the world is a much better place when you don't make your self out to be the hero, and rather you act as the unassuming guide. Have fun, Paul Westcott.

Paul! Replies can be put politely and with solid points! Beleive me it wouldn't hurt at all if you know who the person crticizing you is as much as not knwing who and get ill mannerdly flamed! Why wouldn't you dare put your name on it? Simply coz you meant to put sh*t words and hurt the opposite, Is this who you really are Mr. Paul Westcott?? I mean Come on, if what you reply is not gonna be bullsh*t, then why would you hide cowardly? ha! Be proud as you said! Paul! How old are you? from what I gathered here, you are married, right? You must be in your thirties. You gotta have children, right? Why would you wanna spent or should I say waste your time on replying flames to someone! What's the fun buddy! Are you a saddist? Are you a serial flamer? As for myself, I am 28 this year and married almost 4 years now and have a son who is 2.5 yrs old, and guess what, if I am not on the computer having FUN Programming, then I swear to my God, he is the one and only FUN in my life! I come to codeproject only at night around 11 PM, once I am back from work and just go around for new postings or look for what I need to learn! I don't waste time looking for article with authors claiming or saying or putting comments about themselves or something else! even if I see it, I wouldn't re-act childishly. If I be the child, then who would raise my Child! Ha!? Paul! Grow up buddy! Stop flaming if you do alot! Go redirect your fun towards your life and family, it pays back much much better! At last, who would I be to change anyone if God couldn't.

I forgot to add this: Paul, there is nothing personal from myself against you and I must tell you that also there is nothing personal from you against me! Keep the above lines always in mind Paul. Cheers! :)

G'day Masoud, I agree that some of the posting that were layed down were childish, and did go over the top, and they are not something that I would have written, but I also believe that people are free to say anything they want, and if they do that anonymously then that is their perogative as well. If code project had the number of posting such as slashdot then yes, I agree that something should be done about it, but its not, and a few words said should be accepted be defending your position rather than running away and crying to mummy. In Australia (from where I originally stem), some of the best times I have had are arguing points in a pub, and yes, sometimes it comes down to dirty tricks such as personal attacks. But, if you are aware that it such is just the lowest form of response, then you rise above it, stick to your guns and you come back with the winning argument. I find it sad that the only two things in life that you enjoy are your son and programming. To me, I enjoy every day of life, from the time I rise to the time I lay my head down. I work hard, I play hard. And I enjoy arguing. Maybe you have got the wrong idea about this, but to me, flame is just a debate, with people having different sides for things. But then I guess this is a cultural thing, as over in America (where I am currently based) people don't seem to like confrontation as much, and don't seem willing to get the intellectual stimulation from a good argument. (Not saying that the original argument which started this was necessarily a "good" one though). People over here to me seem like they run away from debate, go home and pop some antidepressants to make themselves feel good, or they are more likely to literally reach for their guns! But, to me the main advances in society over the last hundreds of years has been learning to take debate to an intelligent level, and to me that does mean grabbing it out of the gutter (such as straight abuse) and making something greater out of it. But, one has to be aware that there is the gutter debater and not be offended by them, but rather realize that it is just someone who is still learning the details of intellectul debate. They should not be encouraged by bouncing the same material back at them, nor should they be totally ignored, but rather, encouraged to come up with a better way of expressing what they are trying to get across. And I'm sure that you are aware that I am never anonymous (I always type "ftp" as the anonymous username into an ftp server even!! [but that was only

I find it sad that the only two things in life that you enjoy are your son and programming. Brother! go to my website and see what else I do and have fun with as well. Would you like a full schedule of my A Day activity Paul? What I wrote about the marriage and son is just coz it's the only common thing with you, so I spoke your language and touched on your experince! You are a family supporter as I am! Why waste your time uselessly! Time is money, invest it in better things, and what best than your own family and field to be, when you got so much free time like yourself. and don't seem willing to get the intellectual stimulation from a good argument. No you are wrong! Do you have a strong accent Paul? Maybe they don't like it, ask them first! Paul you're a hotmail user, do you have MSN Messenger? I added you for a chat. Lets know eacother more just for the sake of avoiding ourselves next time? This is best for us I guess! After all you run a bisuness as well, right? Such things harm reputation Paul! Cheers! :)

Brother! go to my website and see what else I do and have fun with as well Sorry for my misunderstanding, but if you go back and read your original message you said... if I am not on the computer having FUN Programming, then I swear to my God, he is the one and only FUN in my life! I don't believe in wasting time either, but people discussing issues is not a waste of time (unless you believe that politics is all a waste of time [and in some respects it is, but once again I state, it is the basis for our modern society which offers us so much]) No you are wrong! Do you have a strong accent Paul? Maybe they don't like it, ask them first! Well no I don't have a very strong accent, people over here always want me to speak more, as they like my accent. But what this had to do with things; I am confused. The issue really is that people don't like to think. People don't like to read the newspaper. People don't like watching the news (well besides most of the fluff that the commercial channels put on). People don't like to look at a problem and evaluate the problem. People want quick fixes. Quick fixes often solve an immediate problem, but often cause others. (Just think of any major software project that you have worked on for example, let alone looking to the real world, will full social situations.) do you have MSN Messenger? No, but I'll have a look for it. Lets know eacother more just for the sake of avoiding ourselves next time? This is best for us I guess! Once again I am confused. I have just been expressing my opinion of why I believe that there should be anonymous accounts; which is because I believe in the freedom of speech, whatever the angle. For some people that is via an anonymous channel. Some people choose to abuse that, but that is no reason to cut off that channel for those who don't. After all you run a bisuness as well, right? Such things harm reputation Paul! At the moment, I'm employed by a company, but in Australia I do have my own company, doing software consulting. I don't think anything I have said will ruin my reputation at all. I believe my arguments here have shown is that I approch problems from a critical angle, that I am willing to discuss in full detail why I believe something. To me, what all my communication has been actively improving my reputation as I show the ability to critically think and evaluate problems. This ability is what my customers like, they don't want someone who will just go

It is always good to have contructive arguments and I do that too. But one thing is that one man cannot change change much, but his view will of course be respected and put into consideration. I am not related to any politics at all and I'd rather keep myself that way! As for wasting time, you are right, then why waste time like now? Good Luck! Cheers! :)

I would rather say that it's a bug, and it has little to do with animation. It would be a different story if you've made up your own planet (like the creaters in the Star Wars which is one of my favorite movies BTW), but your stuff looks like Earth to me - indicating possible ignorance in the matter of Earth's rotation. I seem to remember that Microsoft had a similiar bug somewhere but they at least admit it to be a bug...
