Arbitrators say Landis is guilty[^] A sad day. Or maybe just the end of a sordid period.

So much for the much lauded clean up of the game. It's a shame that this has had to happen.

Man, I was hoping he was clean. With all the additional withdrawals this past Tour due to doping suspicions, we can only hope riders will realize the risk is not worth it.

It's stuff like this that takes out the fun of almost all sports. Even teenagers are bucking the system. Natural talent is history.

Still - there's room for people like me. I can bring my natural lack of talent to bear.

Yes, but you are not making millions of dollars in sponsorships and things like that.

Well, I'm prepared to lower my standards for this.

Do you think? Isn't everyone doping now? He just got caught that's all. The moral I'm teaching my children, "Cheat as much as you want but don't get caught by the other cheaters who will rat you out instantly to make themselves out to be uncheaters." That's the way you do it and I pity the fool that doesn't have an alibi.

It's bike riding for goodness sake. After Lance, who cares about it anymore?
