I can't imagine an air mouse for a developer unless they are used to giving a lot of presentations or something. Anything that causes my hands to not be resting in the "home position" on my keyboard is a direct threat to my productivity.

I've got Microsoft's version of the wireless keyboard/mouse. It's been good so far (i.e., sensitive, doesn't go through batteries, mouse is durable), but the finish they put on them stinks.

They are pretty cool and do not have batteries, cords (on the mouse that is) and are light weight (some modules you might want to remove a weight they put in to make it heavier). These work great for a mouse and still gives you a form of drawing tablet. http://www.wacom.com/graphire/[^]
