I first discovered cigars 20 years ago when I sneaked into my father's study. X| I then had a lapse for some 20 years and tried a pipe at a friends suggestion(with the legal sort of tobacco). Despite the ban on smoking I have not been put off and really enjoy a pipe with some good tobacco once or twice a week. Any other pipe smokers out there? I currently have Borkum Riff mixed with Golden Ambrosia in the bowl - mmm...:)

the most idiotic thing ever! sure it may help with second hand smoke, but it should be up to the owner to decide if his business is smoke free or not. we cant even smoke in bars here in charleston!

im not sure if it works in traditional pipes, but shisha(the legal thing i smoke from my hookah) has some amazing flavors. i usually mix and match them. ive been smoking a blend of vanilla and mint, and sometimes i add a third ingredient.

Yup. Nice little pouch of a local tobacconist's blend on my shelf waiting for me.

Yup, my favorite is a house blend from my old tobacconist back in Sarasota, FL called Union Jack. Haven't found anything else like it anywhere so I still have it mailed to me. I'm generally more likely to smoke a cigar these days but usual enjoy the pipe during a football or baseball game.

wow, I'm surprised... I didn't realize that hookahs had that much penetration into North America. I'm genuinely impressed. If you need any specialty mixes (the proper stuff)(legal too! ;P) you just tell me, I'll mail 'em from here. My wife. She always lights one up first thing in the morning. Wouldn't bother me, but she taps out last nights baccy whilst in bed, it's worse than her toe nail clippings that I keep finding. She makes me call her 'Steve' when she has a pipe on - not sure what that is all about, but I can't be on my own having a wife like that can I?

I love the smell of pipe tobacco, there's nothing else quite like it.

well, the underground community has always embraced the good ole hookah, but hookah bars are popping up everywhere here in South Carolina and ive been to a few in Georgia. they dont sell shishah though. you have to find a good "head shop" to get any, but they have a very small selection and most of the stuff you can order online isnt that great either.

I'm not exactly sure what you need. We call the experts that work on them "mixers". I'll talk to one of 'em here ( I'm a regular at one of the Shisha shops ), find out what you need and how its done. Again, if you want samples out of here, just tell me where to fedex it to.
